TEXELL HD
Description
Texell HD is a, closed cell, cross-linked, semi rigid polyethylene, joint filler, for use in brick and blockwork. It fully meets the specification of BS5628 Pt 3: 2001 Section 5.4.3 – Code of Practice for use of masonry.
It also meets the Department of Transport Specification 1015 for Roads and Bridges.
Texell HD is ideal for use in all water retaining structures such as reservoirs, sewage tanks, runways, taxiways and aprons, sea defences etc.
Texell HD is ozone, oil, and weather resistant, and has very low water absorption properties of <1% by volume. Texell HD has been tested to BS6920 by the Water Research Council, and can be used with potable water. It is registered under the Water Byelaws Scheme, product no. 9402509. Where Texell HD is used as a joint filler, there is no need for any additional bond breaker.
